Special Saved Games:
You put these in the "..\Sid Meiers SimGolf\Saved Games" folder in your install of SMSG. These are blank courses built in the normal game mode (not sandbox) by Avenger. He added lots of elevation changes and water, making for an unusual start for your course. When you load these saved games you will be in regular game mode, so to expand your course you will have to buy land from Mr. Picky! Each download has a readme.txt file with more info.

I am providing mirrors of the Firaxis courses and pro golfer downloads from the official SimGolf site ONLY for a limited time, since it appears that there are some problems with people being unable to register on the official site. I will remove them if asked by EA, Firaxis, or once the registration problems are cleared.

• Official SimGolf Courses You put these in the "..\Sid Meiers SimGolf\Themes\Championship" folder.
• Pro Golfer "Ace" You put this file in the "..\Sid Meiers SimGolf\Themes\Championship" folder.

Fan Created Mods:
These are mods to SimGolf, altering sounds, graphics, or whatever we can find to modify! Warning - all custom mods have the possibily of messing up your installaltion of SimGolf so use at your own risk. You have been warned!

• Belch Sound Mod by JZ Temple. This mod reduces the "belch" sound you hear at the snack bar by about 75%. It's still there if you listen hard! The installation instructions are in the zip file in the readme.
• Real Pro Golfer Names by Spudz, who says "I've edited the pro golfers names to the actual real names (rather than the jokey ones). The file needs to go in the \Themes\Standard\ directory."

Fan Created Golf Pros:
These are unusual and interesting pros to add to your championship play.

• Lone Jedi by Jason. This Golf Pro has all stats at 150%. Note that Jason hex-edited the file, that's how he got the numbers so high. There is a readme in the zip that has the details. You put the "*.pro" file in the "..\Sid Meiers SimGolf\Themes\Championship" folder in your install of SMSG.
• Curly by mudgolf, who says "Golf with Curly! All of the sim golfer reactions are 3 stooges quotes, and nearly all are from the golf themed 3 stooges short, Three Little Beers. I also included a pcx head file of Curly that can be used. Any self respecting golfer has seen Three Little Beers and might appreciate this." Installation instructions are in the readme.txt file.
